TARGET AUDIENCE

This training course is aimed at companies in all sectors of activity who wish to help their employees become more proficient in the use of the IFS solution, and thus help them adapt to their workstations.

This training also forms part of the roll-out of the IFS solution to Process Pilots, Key-Users and end-users.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

At the end of the training:

  • You will have acquired the IFS operating principles for Project Management functionalities.
  • You'll master the main parameters structuring the application and their impact on your business flows.
  • You'll also be able to manage your business flows from start to finish, and produce your own operating procedures.
  • You'll be able to use the application in your everyday life.

The following topics will be covered during the course:

  • Presentation of the general project management flow and life cycle.
  • Basic project data: Programs; Categories 1 & 2; Report codes; ...
  • Create a project, create a sub-project and its activities.
  • WBS (Work Breakdown Structure).
  • Modelling budget breakdown structures: "cost/revenue" elements
  • CBS (Cost Breakdown Structure).
  • Draw up the project budget.
  • Project planning (resource management).
  • Project implementation (from approval to closing).
  • Management of project budget forecasts (Reste à faire; Coût à terminaison; ...).
  • Cost and revenue tracking:
    - Planned amount.
    - Planned cost incurred.
    - Cost incurred.
    - Cost / revenue used.
    - Actual cost / revenue.
  • Project replenishment (stock, purchasing and production).
  • Entry of project hours, project costs and expense reports.
  • Management of customer orders for project delivery and/or invoicing.
  • Project pricing management.
  • Project billing.
