This training is designed to help companies optimize the use of IFS ERP, taking full advantage of its rich and configurable features.

The public concerned must be involved in the different professions of the Supply Chain, that is to say: Purchasing, Supplies, Sales, Stocks and Logistics.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this IFS Supply Chain training course, you will be able to :

  • Acquire the operating principles of IFS on Supply Chain functions : You will understand how IFS can be used to effectively manage Supply Chain processes, from purchasing and procurement to sales and logistics.
  • Master the main structuring parameters of the application : You will learn how to configure the key parameters of the application that directly impact your business flows, such as calculating needs, managing orders and controlling stocks.
  • Unfold your business flows from end to end : You will be able to track and manage your business processes smoothly and efficiently, using IFS features to optimize each step, from order to delivery.
  • Produce your user procedures (operating modes) : You will develop detailed operating modes for the daily use of the application, thus ensuring uniform and efficient application of processes within your company.
  • Use the application in your daily routine You'll be able to integrate IFS into your daily routines, taking advantage of its functionalities to improve supply chain management.

  1. Purchasing / Supplies

  • Basic Data for Purchasing : You will learn how to set up and manage the basic information needed for purchasing processes. This includes managing suppliers, purchased items, and the links between items and suppliers.
  • Example : Referencing a supplier and its article offering .
  • Supply Chain Matrix : You will discover how to define the time elements taken into account in the calculation of the supply lead time and this by incoterm, by supplier, etc.
  • Example : Entering a supplier matrix to the different storage sites.
  • Calculating requirements and purchasing requests : You will learn how to define and calculate supply requirements, manage purchasing requests and launch calls for tenders.
  • Example : Setting up a call for tenders for a specific product and selecting the optimal supplier.
  • Pricing : You will learn how to manage contracts and pricing with suppliers, as well as purchase orders and supplier programs.
  • Example : Creating a contract with a supplier including specific pricing conditions and tracking orders.
  • Managing Authorizations and Reminders : You will see how to manage authorizations for requisitions and purchase orders, as well as reminders for pending orders.
  • Example : Setting up an authorization process for orders above a certain commitment amount .

  • Example : Adding a new non-stocked commercial item for a customer sale.
  • Commercial Pricing and Quoting : You will see how to manage contracts, sales campaigns, and price lists as well as create commercial quotes.
  • Example : Creating a sales campaign with promotional prices for a group of products.
  • Customer Orders : You will understand the flow of a complete customer order processing process, from entry to invoicing.
  • Example : Processing a customer order delivered from stock until the generation of the final invoice.
  • Customer returns and invoicing : You will understand the steps involved in managing customer returns and the different invoicing methods (normal, collective, on schedule, on account, etc.).
  • Example : Managing a customer return and issuing or not a credit note.

  • Mobility (WADACO) : You will see the benefit of using mobility solutions for inventory and logistics management.
  • Example : Using the WADACO mobile application to scan and record pallet transfer movements in the warehouse .
  • Order Preparation and Shipping : You will understand the order preparation and shipping process.
  • Example : Preparing a customer order and managing its shipment via a third-party carrier.
  • Preparation on OF, BT : You will understand the progress of the preparation process (list to serve) of manufacturing orders (OF) and work orders (BT).
  • Customer and Supplier Returns : You will understand the steps involved in managing returns, both on the customer and supplier side.
  • Example : Processing a supplier return for defective products and adjusting inventory.
