  • Creating a task : Define and structure a new migration task.
  • Example : Create a task to migrate inventory data from a server file.
  • Task types : From a file (local or server), from a data table, from another IFS instance, insert by creation, insert by update.
  • Example : Differentiate between an insert migration and an update migration.
  • Execute a task : Process to initiate and monitor a migration task.
  • Example : Run a migration task and monitor its progress.
  • Task Error Handling : Techniques for identifying, analyzing, and correcting errors that occur during migration.
  • Example : Analyzing error logs to troubleshoot missing data issues.
  • Import/Export a task : Procedures for exporting and importing migration tasks between different environments.
